Great news: with British Gas you could freeze your energy prices until 2010

Has anybody seen this offer from British Gas;

At British Gas, we're trying our best to limit the impact of rising wholesale energy prices on our customers by offering the chance to freeze your prices right up until April 2010*. What a great way to protect yourself from the uncertainty of the energy market? But this is a limited offer available only until 18th January 2006.

* Not available to gas prepayment customers. 2.8% gas premium, 4.8% electricity discount and variable cancellation
charges apply. Restricted availability, excludes VAT and regulatory changes.

I haven't had time to fully understand it yet, I was wondering if this is worth a punt or not?
