Dehumidifier recommendations

Excessive condensation throughout the upstairs of our property plus some newly noticed damp patches in the bathroom leads me to suspect a dehumidifier is needed.

From searching the forums it seems the running costs of these are 2p per hour, but does anybody have recommendations on an actual model? Obviously the cheaper the better as well!

    I've actually just bought a Delonghi DEM10 http://www.delonghi.co.uk/product_page.php?id=167&key=Dehumidifiers and I'm really impressed.

It was on Amazon a couple of weeks ago for £89 but I missed it. I ended up just picking up from Curry's for £97.

It's made a real difference to the condensation levels downstairs - these were quite severe with wallpaper peeling etc. It's also massively reduced the drying time for clothes indoors.

Never thought about the clothes aspect of it. With winter being high, obviously we're using the clothes horse etc (which is in one of the bathrooms and not helping with the condensation!)

Another vote for this one. It's really efficient - much better than our old one - and it's also much quieter.

Yet another vote for this one, if you buy it at Argos (like we did) when they are gicving out £10 vouchers for spending £100, for £99.99 + an additional small item to take you over £100, then it only costs £90
