Under 18 Instant Access Savings Accounts

Having suffered from Alliance and Leics' decision to reduce their First Saver account interest rate, I'm looking to find a suitable replacement on the High Street for my son.

Any ideas for me to follow up?

    I don't know what rate first saver paid and pays now, but can suggest Nationwide flexacount (cash card) with linked online instant access e-savings account (4.75%)

    I think you might need to be over 18 for those Nationwide accounts.

    This time (only?) you are wrong ...
    Nationwide's FlexAccount is only available to UK residents aged 16 or over. You must be 18 or over to apply for an overdraft

    Their smart-to-save account (with link cash card) is for up to 17 y.o.
  • Best Instant access savings account is Halifax save4it at 4.8% AER
