Hello everyone - cold here today!
* Checked online banking, got paid £10 more from PT job than I was expecting which is great news. Paid £5.50 into virtual sealed pot savings account.
* Breakfast at home, made a small salad for lunch as already have soup in work's fridge but the microwave is broken so have brought it as back up.
* Taking BF to Bella Italia tonight but using a 2 for 1 voucher so will get my meal free - we are going to see Coldplay as well so excited about that
Nothing else yet, will add more later!

Will do some comps later - not won anything for a month or two now so I'm hoping that a Nintendo wii or a super sexy Macbook is coming in time for Xmas!
Also, I saved someone else money today - bought a latte for £1.20 and handed over a tenner and the guy serving tried to give me back £20 worth of change. Me being the honest person I am, gave the £10 note back out of the change and he's promised me a free latter tomorrow by way of a 'thank you' tomorrow! (Pays to be honest!)Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Morning everyone,
I dont post very oftenbut am feeling super efficient today so :
I've checked on line banking
Done a load of washing & hung it on the airer / radiators
Cleaned the bathroom
Delved into the airing cupboard & distributed the contents around having decided that none of it really needs to be ironed so saved some electricity there
It's going to be a NSD today too0 -

Hello again!
I didn't do great on my list yesterday but I did make good progress on my Christmas shopping (I want it all finished by Sunday at the latest)
Here is my list today
* Check online banking - done slightly better than I thought:D
* early night again
* read my book
* washing at 30
* update MSE diary - done
* dig out my knitting stuff again to get back on with knitting my throw.
I'm not deliberately writing a list with a smiley for every task... honest!:o

Morning folks!
I have the feeling I'm going to have an expensive day today...:mad: I've not slept a wink for the last 2 nights because of the blinding toothache I've had. OH phoned NHS24 last night when I thought I was actually going to pass out from the pain and the nice little dental nurse said it sounds like I have an abcessSo... off to the dentist today for antibiotics and then back again when the swelling goes down to get root treatment... ugh...
So, my list today:
Go to the yukky dentist - does anyone know how much an 'exploratory' appointment costs nowadays? Last time I was there I wasn't working so don't think I paid....
(The rest of this list now depends on how good the painkillers I receive are, because as of now, it's taken me all my time to drag myself out of bed and onto the sofa!! :rolleyes: )
Check bank accounts - must try to sign up last account to online banking so I don't have to go out to check it!
Lots of ironing - was very pleased with myself for doing 5 loads of washing on Tuesday... however, now it's all dried, I have a horrible MOUNTAIN of ironing to do
Try AGAIN to finish writing Xmas cards and actually get them posted - sooo bad at this, HATE writing cards!! :rotfl:
Do a couple of surveys and maybe sign up for a bingo site or two - never joined these before, am intrigued!
Attempt to make HM soup - something I'm not great at, but feeling experimental today! And hopefully soup will be nice and filling without hurting my poor teeth!
Add mine and OHs change to sealed pot - will update with total - loving my electronic money tin
Investigate changing line rental from BT to Sky - got a letter from Sky saying we'll save £1.75 a month if we do...
List 5 things on Ebay/Green Met - not part of the challenge, but reading about it has motivated me, and hopefully I'm not too late to make a wee bit extra before Xmas!
That's all for just now folks, will be back. Wish me luck for the dentist - I'm terrified!! _pale_LBM - 1/12/08 - Debt £13250
DFD - Nov 2013 - WILL be sooner!!
Sealed Pot Challenge - No 415 - £112.41/£250
Ebay Challenge - No 10 - £300/£500
SLP Challenge - No 12 - £7.83/£50 :rolleyes:0 -

Hello everyone! :wave: Well I still have the lurgy
Feel a little bit better than yesterday and have managed to nip to the shop. I just want to feel normal again! :mad: Never mind, MSE always cheers me up especially this thread.:beer:
So today...- Have been to local shop and bought trashy magazine (budgeted for) and stamps for xmas cards (2nd class)
- Have already filled in puzzle section, will send off and cross my fingers for a win
- Not use any petrol
- Have done some washing at 30c and will dry on airer
- I will finish my list: things to do before I'm 30. Thanks to KtJazz for the inspiration there!
- I have also done financial goals for when I'm 30!
- Catch up on the gang's diaries
- Snuggled under duvet, heating on as poorly but is on a low setting
- Do meal plan for next week. Want to use up as much odds and sods as possible as I want to save some money I have budgeted for this week's grocery shop, so can buy a bit extra during the xmas shopping next friday (phew, hope that makes sense!)
- Do shopping list for tomorrow
- Try and feel better!
