please note real spy monitor will be picked ou by your anti virus s/w and probably by your firewall as it operates like a trojan and it may pop up so and tell the other users on your pc also is she very pc savvy???? as she may fine some of this stuff

Many thanks to all for the advice which I have passed on. It truly is for a friend. It is not my place to question the morality or the trust issues on this occasion, I was asked for help and sought advice from people more in the know than me.

I appreciate the non parents feel it is a privacy issue, but without saying too much of the details, my friend has already lost a teenage girl to suicide. This is not about learning who she "fancies" or wants to sleep with, this is a desperate attempt to keep her safe.

O dear, that is very sad!

Perhaps there ought to be Internet Filtering on the PC too.

It's pretty hard to meet someone suicidal via MSN, since you MUST know the email address of the other person. However a Themed Chat Room (ie. Suicidal) will make it EASY to meet someone who would persuade/help someone do suicide.

your point being?

each of my posts contributed to the thread. I posted them separately because I sourced the information separately, and it makes it easier for someone to try the program in turn until they find one they like, knowing each is a separate post.

Also makes administering the forum easier as any dead links can be deleted from the thread by deleting the post without having to edit certain text out of a single, oversized post detailing all the options.
