When you have got the screen up you want printed, press either
    Alt and Print Scrn
    or
    Ctrl and Print Scrn

One selects only the active window, one selects the whole screen (can't remember off the top of my head which does which)

Then go to a graphics, word processor or similar programme new document and hit paste. Whatever you selected will be pasted into your new document and then you can print it from there.

Right, I have tried that several times and it doesn't work. I must be doing something seriously wrong, or I am being totally thick!! (not hard with me!!)

I am pressing ctrl and print screen, then opening paint and click on edit then there is no option to paste.

    What am I doing wrong?

Dunno if this helps but I just press printscreen, no alt, ctrl or anything then paste it in.

I just use Prt Screen without ctrl.

Then go to any paint prog and paste (either from menu or by pressing Ctrl V)

If you have Irfanview installed, it can do screen capture with the mouse pointer included - something normal Prt Screen can't do

Nope that one isn't working either, thankyou for the help though :A

Could it be a problem with the programme?

Is that not just for small bits of text? I want to do a whole screen print.

Right I have just tried that and it isn't working either. I am being so dim here :rotfl:

I don't have Irfanview. I have paint shop pro 8 though, can that one do something similar?
