Im hoping to put in slate flooring into the whole downstairs area of a new build which has wooden floors - it's all open plan so i would like to keep the floor uniform throughout.
Upstairs I would like to put in wooden flooring, on top of the boarding that is there.
Will the floors bear all this extra weight ok? I read nothing about this being a consideration in literature about these flooring products.
Apart from the floor i have the ordinary peices of furniture, nothing excessive and not a lot. Thanks for your thoughts........
