Hi, i have an ipod and would like some new (black) headphones, i want them to be at least as good quality as the ones that come with the ipod, these are the specs for ipod phones:
* Earbud-style headphones with 18-mm drivers using Neodymium transducer magnets
* Frequency response: 20Hz to 20,000Hz
* Impedance: 32 ohms
but i'm not sure what it means, for example im not sure what impedance means and whether its better if it is high or low?
If anybody knows of any good price black headphones that are at least the same quality as the apple ones,please tell me
Thanks

Almost any earphones should work as long as the ipod uses a standard mini-jack connector (don't have an ipod so cannot confirm - does it have an inline remote control for the pod functions not just volume?). However in answer to your other questions:
Freq response - 20Hz to 20kHz is the sound spectrum range that the average human can hear. this is good enough unless you have better hearing (not very common).
Impedence - this is the level of resistance that the driver(speaker) units have. higher figures mean less power required to work but poorer quality sound, lower means more power to work but better quality at higher amplification.
Hope this helps"Life? Life is nature's way of keeping meat fresh!"0
