Microwave on a shelf - which brackets to use?

Hello, we are wanting to put a heavy microwave on a shelf above the worktop to make a bit more space. The shelf will fit into a semi- alcove, its a bit difficult to explain but we have a pillar that comes out a bit and so the shelf can but up against the bit of the pillar as well, to give a bit of extra support.

DH has been out to Wilkinsons and bought two big white brackets to sit it on, which will work, but will look awful (I have a thing about ugly brackets). I can remember seeing some special sort of brackets that can support microwaves but I can't find them anywhere.

Does anyone know what I should ask for? I have googled microwave brackets but it doesn't bring up anything useful.
:hello:  please play nicely children !
