Looking for a budget home cinema set up

Hi

Looking for a Home Cinema set up for my Dad at Xmas.

He has a Samsung LCD TV, Virgin HD box and a Panasonic DVD recorder.

I would like to add some kind of basic Home Cinema package for around £120.

Please can anyone give me any pointers in the right direction and what I should look to buy as I have no idea what is required?

you need an av amp try here... http://www.richersounds.com/productlist.php?cda=productlist&sgroup=AVRECEIVERS then some speackers and then a sub wuffer..... or you could go for 1 box home cinema systems they have them at argos .... here

I bought an Acoustic Solutions ages ago. Can't remember the cost but it was under £100.00. It's loud well built and looks the part and sound quality is good enough but not great.
I had some problems when the input wasn't high enough to make it work properly (was going off at quiet bits) but they were very helpful with advice
