Can anyone recomened a good value wedding reception in Glossop/ Derbyshire

Just wondering if anyone can recomend anywhere for a good value wedding/ reception in Glossop/ Derbyshire. It must have a bar. If you can give an idea of cost too!

Oh my goodness. I lived for a year ( one too many ) in Hadfield ( League of Gentleman ).The only good thing about that place was getting train to Manchester. There is a good place...I had my wedding reception ( 2nd one ended in divorce!) at the Red Lion,near Chapel-en-le-Firth and the evening "Do" was held in the middle of nowhere.It was a bed/breakfast place...camping,dance floor and good food...I can't remember the exact name ,but it was located near a reservoir.Contact the Tourist Board in Glossop and I'm sure they will know it....might be via Padfield?

Glossop Park is very nice,but the traffic jams are something else!

I went to a friend's wedding in December at the Saddleworth Hotel, Delph, Oldham, which wasn't very far from Glossop if this helps?

Unfortunately, I believe they are currently updating their website.

Fantastic venue(which would be wonderful in the spring/summer months), the best food I have had at a wedding. Not sure of cost etc.

I live in Glossop and can't think of anywhere that I would recommend for a wedding reception. If we go for a meal out we go out of town.
