Try Air Tran. I used them last year and found the prices good and the service efficient. Also at check-in you were given the opportunity to upgrade to first class for around $30. Not really worth it except on late night flights. You got better seats, boarded first, a pre take off drink, a dedicated flight attendant and free drinks throughout the flight.

Have you already booked your flights with virgin?
if you want hotels etc have a look at marc travel group/united vactaions in the states.
we needed flights between sfo and las and the price for the flights alone bought in the uk was more than the package price including hotels booked with united vacations via the sears travel group in new york
Its worth looking at united vacations fly drive as they have free stopovers plus charge i think its extra £50 per stop over wich sometimes works out cheaper0 -
