TrayApp + What is this please?

My PC has been behaving strangely since my SinL same round at weekend to sort out my new laptop and a router I already had. He seems to have messed up my PC one way or another. It is very slow and terrible to use today. I was doing OK until I did a System Restore to a date before the Router became involved. After this SR I started to get a box about TrayApp. I have asked about it by just doing a search and am getting the impression it could be a serious problem. Am I right and what can I do now?. Is it a registry problem?

I am not using the laptop at the moment as I keep getting a message that the Network Security Key is not right. I have sent a message to AOL for advice on this but they have not responded yet. I will be dumping them asap but until my laptop is sorted I will just have to use the router and code they gave me to try and
get the Internet on the laptop.

Hope all this is clear and I will grateful for any help you can give.

That makes sense, thank you very much. My SinL had complained that my PC was slow and when he looked at the programmes in the list where they can be uninstalled he couldn't believe how much room one of the HP programmes
took so he deleted it (I said he could).

Thank goodness for this section of the forums:T
