Hi All
Well, I let the other half talk me into buying him a new Xbox 360 - one with the 60GB hard drive - in place of his Arcade one which he got bored with - DONT ASK ME WHY!!
He's got GTA4 which used to freeze every so often when he was playing the multiplayer game.
Now, he can't access Free Mode, and when he can actually get into this mode, it kicks him out after a while and says:
"Disconnecting from multiplayer due to server/nat restrictions being too strict."
He nearly put his foot through it last night!
It's connected to our wireless router with the ethernet cable and there is no problem with the connection because I can play Guitar Hero World Tour online without being kicked out.
We've got the Gold membership which doesn't expire for another couple of months.
Any ideas peeps?
Thanks!

You could have just bought a 60GB hard drive with 2 games i think it is for about £60/£70, oh well you've spent the money now, you tried using a wired connection or is that not possible, dont know what the problem is though, sorry0

Hey, it's his money...besides, he traded the arcade one against the price of the new one so I aint bothered.

Hmm... Have never heard of this problem before. Perhaps it is problems with your internet router-if it is a Linksys branded router, get them to sort it out on there freephone number:
0800 0261418
if you are put on hold try the alternatives:
0800 0680327 & 0800 0261415
Good luck!;)0 -

may be of help to you. Basically the settings on your router/firewall are too strict and you need to forward some ports to your xbox's ip address inside the router configuration (see the router manual for how to do this) or if you say what model of router you have I'm sure someone will be able to post a mini guide.0 -
I've got the white Netgear one supplied by Sky.;)I am not a complete idiot - some parts are missing;)0
