    New total - £45.80 :) I think I've put £20+ into my actual sealed jar too, so a good month to date!

    Also (and excuse me if this isn't in the spirit of the challenge), I've opened an additional two savings accounts so that I can budget for gifts and holidays next year. For budgeting purposes, it's essential that I keep the balances on these simple, so the interest will be getting paid into my sealed jar (just leaving the capital/actual payments in the new accounts).

    The joy of linked savings accounts will mean that I can keep things simple, be financially well-behaved and top up my virtual savings a fair bit into the bargain!

    Say what you like against IF, their online accounts are bloomin' easy to use.

    hey everybod, hope u r all ok. im just on pc for a min, iv got sooooo much to do, last day at work tomorrow (ever, im leaving!!) and its xmas in a week and im not quite ready lol

    edinburgher several 'pots' is good because you can save for certain things, i think its one of martins ideas to put everything in seperate 'piggybank' accounts, makes life easier if everything is in its place
