Just thought I would join in this to help me with the saving aspect (so many things I want to do: holiday, driving lessons etc and no savings!).

Have just worked out (on a very complicated spreadsheet) that if I continue to save at this rate, I will have my loan paid off on 15th December 09. That's a year and a half early
Next to figure out how much that will actually save me in interest payments!0
