I've not tried it, so I can't comment on quality, but Lidl have Serenade Noble Cherry Liqueur for £4.99.Looking forward to the future.0 -
I've bought the original Kirsch at Mt T, it's only a small bottle and cost me £5.29 http://www.tesco.com/superstore/frames/default.asp?buttons=&url=/superstore/frames/main.asp
p.s I would not use a substitute as it's not the same!0 -

Hi
I used to buy miniature Kirsch bottle from an off licence. Worth trying to see if they still do them - otherwise they used to sell 1/4 bottles. You can always use the left over on sliced fresh pineapple... delicious

I'm having difficulty getting hold of Kirch (Cherry liqueur) I've tried MrS, MrT MrM and no stores have any, I only want a miniature size, I have no intention of paying around £8.00 I need this ingredient towards making a black forest gateau.
Any suggestions peeps?
You could try absinthe wormwood and you would all have a merry xmas!
ps. I call her the pink-whinge lady because her job appears to be to move posts to boards where they'll get a worse response! :rolleyes:Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Mortgage rate 0.75% = 5.75% profit on £75K = £4500 per year:j
