setting up BB on two seperate Hard drives

Having problems,
In a Dual boot system with two HDD's will my BB setup work from both drives,
Win 2k is primary with XP home as secondary all settings have been copied over, but it will not connect from the XP drive error 0678 is reported back connection failed.
any ideas please

what broadband do you have, what modem/router do you have..
if you're using a dial up / usb broadband modem, i'd upgrade to a router, as it stores the details for your broadband connection (if it is an adsl router), and then just plug in via ethernet, and you shouldn't have an issue

I have adsl BB through a Thomson speedtouch ST 330 usb modem, I have just double checked my settings and they are both the same,. BUT it will not connect as I previously stated."Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0 -
probably diff drivers for xp/2k0
