HELP PLEASE! Credit card or loan?

I've found this site really useful but haven't needed to post much before. However, I have just hit a problem and need some advice from all you moneysavers!

I've been managing my credit card debt by switching between 0% cards. I've got my debt down to just under 7000. I have just switched back to Virgin as they offerred me a 0% deal until June and I only had to pay £25 a month (very low I know, but it would have given me a few months grace to get the rest of my finances sorted)

However, I have managed to miss the first payment :o  so the interest rate has shot up and they are going to put £120 interest on next month.

(I'm convinced I had paid it but when I've checked my bank balances it hasn't come off my account)

So I'm just wondering what to do - I'm running out of credit cards to move onto plus alot of them want 3% of the balance every month  .

Looked at one of the Barclaycards but they will only take 5000 and want 2.25% every month. Do you think a loan would be a better idea?

PLEASE HELP - I'm going to have a lean Christmas because of my stupidity:o

Have you tried calling them?? I had the 0% deal on Virgin 18 months or so ago and was late on 2 payments I think.

Both times I rang them and apologised profusely and they reinstated the 0%.

Might be worth a call - and set up a DD while you're at it so it doesn't happen again ;)
