Tesco only pricematch when they have to. If you look closely at Tesco price tickets they will show Asda selling at the same price then Sainsbury dearer, they rarely will beat Asda on price. In fact their history has always been to offer end of row loss leaders, and then sell items on the rows for as much as they can get away with.
The fact that they do more on sales is mainly because of town centre locations, and the proliferation of Tesco Metro, tending to becoming the corner shop. Their coupons policy so store dependant and is a sham.

And if someone was pricematching something that is already on offer (ie the beans) you were suppose to adjust the price so it did not take the Asda offer off (so basically add the asda offer too the price you are trying to price match)
Not sure how many cashiers did it, as it is/was time consuming, and you did need your wits about you

It must be a flyer, not a newspaper ad. Be in date and it must be like for like ie same size, flavour and brand ( shops own brand = shops own brand, tesco value=asda smart price and Tesco finest =asda extra special etc...)When it comes to thought, some people stop at nothing.........0 -
Anyway it is probably all academic now , as Kwiksave changed their offer leaflets for new ones starting the 11th Jan. No beanz in sight.

Asda will only price match with an official store leaflet.:rolleyes:ac's lovechild0
