Heinz Beans 8p per can at Asda

Hi,

Asda are currently doing Heinz beans 4pack at £1.68 or 2 for £2 hence knocking off £1.36 for the multibuy.

If you take in a Kwick Save flyer which has the pack advertised at 99p then as long as you buy in multiples of 2 you should receive the Asda dicount as well as the price reduction.

For example 2 packs at 99p = £1.98 - £1.36 (Asda multibuy discount)
= 62p (divide by 8 tins) = 8p per can.

I bought 16 packs ..... looks like it's going to be very windy in my house for the next few months... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Is this something to do with Asda's pricing policy - the Kwik Save flyer I mean? Do you have to show it at the Asda till or do you have to go to CS and get a rebate? I have had a brief look at the Tesco mispriced thread, is it on the same lines as this?

If you take the flyer to the till, the operator should match the price or whatever the deal the flyer shows.

I tried to do a price match as Asda just before Christmas (for about 30p) - they refused so I asked them to take back about £150 of shopping I just purchased under their no quibble money back quarantee - they were happy to do that!

does the no quibble money guarantee mean you can return something without a reason. is this just for asda products or any products???

That is a joke, they probally had to waste some of the things Veg, Frozen etc

You're both as mad as each other :T If I was down 30p I'd be a bit miffed but I wouldn't want to redo £150 worth of shopping. Then again if I had the choice of giving you 30p or putting £150 worth of shopping back on the shelf I'd do the former!

Strange you should mention Tesco as that is where I was trying to price match against (as a compromise to failing to compensate for a mis-price - they took down the poster so I couldn't prove that).

Asda advice was that if Tesco were cheaper for the product I had purchased, then I should buy that product in Tesco. That's when I discovered their no quibble money back guarantee - it applies to all goods purchased from them where they are returned in their original condition with proof of purchase. There's a time limit - not sure how many days, but certainly longer than 5 minutes!

(Asda also allow returns for other reasons/under other conditions)

My thoughts were that if I have to go to Tesco to buy the one product, I may as well buy all of my shopping there. It was good advice from Asda as the Tesco bill was signficantly lower than the Asda one even allowing for the 30p and slight variations in price between a couple of Tesco own brand and Asda own brand goods.
