Before I opened the account I was under the impression that it was possible to pay in money by cheque. Yet I haven't received any instructions for this from Halifax!

you have to go in to a branch and use a paying in machine0
-
Or place the cheque in an envelope, fill in the details and drop it in the box0

They've not sent me any instructions or paying in slips, just to "ask staff."
Can agencies for Halifax accept payments for the EasyCash account?0 -

with most branches if there is no IDM (immediate deposit machine) then it needs to go through the envelops, I know a few agencies don't have either so if thats the case then you can pay it in straight through over the counter0
