  • Hey Rattla,

You displayed this bundle as being with a link cable and a bonus something or other. I did not get these items and hold you responsible.

For what I did get, you are a star.

    A Golden post, thanks.

I am thinking of cancelling my order. If anyone would be interested in taking it off my hands then let me know (by PM). I think I can just change the delivery address in which case it will cost £36.

As has been said - delivery is likely to be after christmas.

    Cheers.

Where did you find out that you could just change the delivery address please ??? ???. Thanks :)

At the woolies pages you can log in and change your delivery address details. Not sure if it will change the outstanding orders address though. Will have to ring customer services to find out.

On Watchdog last night it announced the virgin refund deal... like we didn't alread know ::) However, it also said that woolworths would be honouring the deal, but (from what I could gather) they are going to make up the bundle themselves. That is, Tesco's had the last of the bundles so Woolworths are going to buy each component seperately and 'create' a bundle.

I got that impression from Woolworths e-mail (see extract below)
We are delighted to report that, whilst the original product remains unavailable in the UK, we have managed to create an equivalent special bundle (including Nintendo Gamecube console, joystick, Pokemon Colosseum game and memory card) and that we are able to offer you this bundle at the original quoted price of £34.99.

I think people are reading a bit to much into the words that have been used. All they are really trying to say is that instead of giving the pack with the Black Flash (i.e. included Pokemon Box etc) they are going to supply the one with the red flash (which contains the exact items they refer to in their e-mail).

I may be wrong but the other pack has only just been released so should be in ample stock from Nintendo! :)

If that is true than why use the phrase "create an equivilent special bundle"

I'm not suggesting that you're wrong, I don't know what we're going to get, I just got the impression from the wording contained within the e-mail that woolies had managed to make up a comparable package to the one advertised.

I think what Woolies intend to do is to see what stock they have left after Christmas and use that and other sources to supply,

    Happy New Year,

Well my Woolies account has updated and now shows this order is

    "Ready For Despatch" :D

Maybe it will be on it's way soon. Does everyone think this is still a good deal ? Gamecubes have dropped in price post Christmas.

    Regards
