My husband proposed to me in Green Park in London.

We walked through the park on one of the hottest July days five years ago and he got down on one knee. It was wonderful !!!
He told me he had wanted to do it somewhere quiet in St James Park, but loads of tourists appeared from nowhere and he bottled it til we got to Green Park.

Good luck with whatever you decide and let us know how it goes.

  • How about the church from 4 weddings and a funeral - right next to Barts hospital. Really really old. Pretty and quiet enough to be romantic.

...Just asked my other half and he said exactly the same place - gone all goose bumpy. Guess that's why we got married last month.

Dinner on a boat might be an idea. I am told there are stationary boats in some parts of London which now serve as restaurants. Very nicely done
