Abbey - Santander untrustworthy!

I have a bank account with them that offered 8%AER for balance up to £2,500 fixed for 12 month if I put £1,000 in every month. I always fill in up to the maximum every month. That should work out about £14 net interest monthly. However, for the second time, they only paid 16 pence instead.
Beware the untrustworthy banstard!

Perhaps you don't have the account that you think you do. I have the "Premier Direct Current Account" which has 8.5% up to £2,500 fixed for 12 months as long as I pay £500 every month. And, they've been paying the interest just fine for me.
Does your bank account have the same name as mine? You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -

Did I also read that the 'bonus' rate was paid at the end of the year, rather than every month?johnmoney05 wrote: »Did you transfer your old bank account to them? I remember that I needed to...you could check the T&Cs....?0 -
Is the account split with a running rate paid monthly and a bonus rate, if you qualify for the full rate, paid after 12 months?
Or, is there a limit on the number of withdrawals and you exceeded that?
