Pull down bed…

Options
We're thinking of getting a pull down bed for the lounge (we live in a 1 bedroom flat in London), one that looks like a cupboard or bookshelves.

Has anyone got one?? are they any good any recommendations. All help & advice appreciated.

Cheers

I have slept in one before and was quite impressed. It was a comfortable double and when folded away, you'd be hard pushed to know it was there at all.

Have a look here for more ideas and prices, or just search Google for "Murphy beds"

The first reply in almost 3 years! At this rate I can imagine in years to come being in an old people's home and getting a reply from one of these threads about something like a PS3 or something.

OK... so 2 years further on another posting on this old thread.

I was looking for these beds for a friend, while chatting online and ended up here... so I showed my friend the link to the story above (two sisters) and he replied that his own mother/father had stayed at his aunt's house in a folding bed like that - and in the morning, when they folded the bed away, they also folded the cat into it and the cat died.
