Amazon not delivering (for free) by Christmas

ordered a peppa pig playhouse (£8 cheaper than elsewhere, £12 cheaper than some places!!), placed order late on Dec 10th, email today to say been dispatched, delivery anticipated soon esp since Royal Mail are working Sundays to deliver parcels.

I ordered some boots and some books on the 9th - the boots were showing as dispatched on the 11th, the books not (sent in two packages), but both turned up this morning and sent on the free super saver delivery option.

Haven't had a dispatch notice for the books, so don't know whats going on there, but they turned up today so I am a very happy bunny

Received my order today...

But..it was split into 2 orders with 2 prices and only one has been charged to my credit card.Will they just take out the other part at a later date?

Yes the rest will be charged when they ship it.

I just placed an Amazon SuperSaver order and they say it will arrive before Christmas.

The other orders above with longer delivery dates must be for things that are not currently in stock.

Sorry i should have been clearer..i have both orders...both were delivered today.

I just checked my CC and still only £11 has gone out which was for the first dvd lot.

In this case they would have normally charged for the first part on 10th and the second on 11th.

As 11th was only yesterday I would not expect to see it on my online credit card transactions until tomorrow at the earliest. When it does appear it would be dated 11th December, however.
