I've just booked and one thing that I have found is that it is cheaper to state that there are two adults in a twin room than say that there is an adult and a child.

    Hi Guys,
I stayed at the ramada Jarvis - Fairfield manor in York and have to report back. It was amazing, so clean, friendly although very posh (£6 for beans on toast! :O) and £31 for breakfast each, per morning! The room was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay. At the reception on the wall was a sign with the prices. £280 for a double room! Thats what we had and we got it for £40!

Only problem was the was an event downstairs on the saturday night and we heard every word from each song clearly as it was very loud, but we didnt mind as there was a good film on and we just turned up the tv.

Hope another deal comes up like this again soon. xx

We spent last weekend at the Ramada Jarvis in Norwich and it was really good. Staff were very nice and attentive, room was clean, bed was comfy and we had great two nights accomodation for £40. There was a 21st Birthday party on Saturday night , and we only knew because they had a message in the reception welcoming guests to that, we did not hear any noise etc. Breaky was £11.95 each but well worth it.

I cant wait for another offer like this as it gives good value for money and would make me more inclined to book a Jarvis in the future.

Glad you enjoyed the stay. £11.95 for breakfast! That is very expensive! You should have gone to the wetherpsoons across the road! 99p pints and a full fryup for £3.75! If your into them.
