    Evening :D

Why do carpets always smell of cheese when you wash them and they're almost dry again?

How am I supposed to impress people with my lovely tidy clean house if it smells of cheese???

What's the old style version of Febreze??

  • pepe - I made apple and cherry crumble the other night. It was lush.

At last, I can put the heating on. I can see my breath sitting here and I'm now trying to AQA with frozen fingertips. OH was working near the radiator and it doesn't have an individual on/off knob so I couldn't have it on.

  • Snaggles, sprinkle bicarb over and hoover off, that'll sort any lingering smells out! Works a treat when your baby wees all over the sofa

DS has gone to bed early, and my evening is going to be exciting - I am clearing out the kitchen cupboards...
  • Bloomin heating is staying on tonight! It's soooo cold and woke up yesterday to freezing house. Not nice.

Having a war with DD's school-whilst we were off with flu, they sent home a letter about a school trip to a Pantomine and we never got it-so DD cannot go. Humph. Im sure there will be at least 1 child poorly! Anyway, we are going to send her to school and then DH will pick her up when they go off on the trip-feel horrible for her. Poor thing. bloody jobsworth in the office is a mardy cow.

  • Well it did just get exciting for a minute :D a Christmas procession is just going down out street playing Rocking Around The Christmas Tree with a dancing Father Christmas and a team of firemen collecting for a local children's charity :) the whole street is out having a look, I love those moments when it feels like a little community...
  • Oh bun that is !!!!. Why couldn't they give her the letter next time she was in? :( hope they sort it out - can you give her a special treat instead if she doesn't go?

Oooo, Bunny, like the new pic....very sultry.

BB, when I wrote my cards last year, I made a little note in quite a few that I wouldn't be doing cards in 2008 :D I'm sending them to people I like, just not OH's family :rotfl: I have also convinced his mum that we are not doing gifts...that £20 note was dizzy, it kept going back and forth.
