    Do Argos do balance transfers?

I'm looking at their summary box, don't know if you have another overdraft or credit card that you can transfer to that will free up the funds on the other cards?

I'm actually after something using the standard store card, not credit card, and I would assume balance transfers using this is not an option. Thanks anyway!

I assume it's £150ish for tyres and then £850 to try and rob peter to pay paul?

If that is the case then we need to see your SOA so we can work out if in reality you need to 'borrow' that £850 if you see what i mean?

Realistically what you are suggesting doing is shifting money from one to the other acheiving nothing but earning yourself huge amounts of interest.

It'll be a lot easier to pay back in the new year when my Christmas bonus comes though - Christmas isn't all that bad after all *bah humbug* I understand most of that would go onto the interest though at least my current situation would be resolved.
    Thanks.
  • ok .....you would need a lot of balls for this one but.....hang around argos on a saturday.....and ask people if they are paying cash...if so you can offer to pay for them....maybe ring round family/friends and offer the same. maybe offering 5% off the price may work out cheaper than paying interest or losing the pounds to cash converters. Desperate times call for desperate measures...but think about it, would you take up an offer of 5% off. It is the season of good will and all that.

I have to say i've done it before with gift cards. hung outside the shop and sold £10 cards for £9.00 but then I am rather ballsy!!!:o
