  • Usually when you apply for a credit card online, you are presented the terms and conditions during the application and are asked to check a box (which represents your signature) to confirm you agree to the terms and conditions.

i accept what you say but all other cards have posted out documents to sign before issuing cards.
  • When I applied for both Barclaycard and American Express, they both did it the way I explained above. It might not be the same for all companies though!

Did you tick a box online agreeing to the terms and conditions?
  • The other posters are right. Its often done this way. You confirm you agree to the terms and conditions by ticking the box. Why do you ask? Are you thinking you could spend on it and then say you never signed for anything and try to avoid paying?

Legal or not I would not try pulling a fast one by spending the credit available and then claiming it the agreement was not legally binding etc.
