oh i hate these things
so hello to all in here, as you can tell i am new , so be gentle.
i am looking for fomula's that will caculate interest... eg if i have £1000 at 3.65% how much will i make at the end of one year.
also if i owe £1000 and have interest at 1.62% how can i caculate my next payment.
any help would be great.
oh by the way i do not have £1000 ... far from it.

  • X * 0.0365 you would have X*1.0365 at the end of the yr
    Y * 0.0162

    If its 3.65% per month for 12 months its 1000 X 1.0365 after month 1 = 1036.5
    Then 1036.5 X 1.0365 after month 2 = 1074
    and so on
    use a spreadsheet and its a lot quicker
