Be careful when buying from HMV website as it is showing one price but when added to the basket it is charging another

Is it happening on other items or just the one?
And have you check that it is actually the price of the item and not additional stuff like VAT, postage etc, charity "donation" etc?0 -

HMV online and HMV instore are 2 different arms of same company sp prices may differ. same with most high street stores and their online counterparts. annoying i know!the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j0 -
Had no probs with them online and they give you 10% student discount online as well, as well as using topcashback site and get another 10%!0

Agree, have just been caught out myself. Offer of the day on 2 Dec was REM Live for £2.99. Received offer email at 7:22, placed order at 10:50. Showed as £2.99 on the website and in my basket. Didn't notice until after checkout that I'd been charged £14.99.
Waited to see what amount came off my bank account before chasing it up and it was confirmed at the weekend that I'd been charged £14.99. Emailed HMV on Sunday to ask for £12 refund but got a reply today to say they had no intention of refnuding the money as the price you see on checkout is the price you pay and £14.99 is the correct price. Er... it wasn't the correct price two weeks ago!
I spend a lot of money with HMV and I'm very unhappy at their response over what was THEIR mistake. The CD hasn't arrived yet so I can't even send it back to get my money back.If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...0
