Brittany Ferries Codes

I agree. LD is spectacular value for money. I use them not only on Brittany crossings, but also on the Dover to Boulogne. The boats are comfortable and they now even started a frequent user scheme. The only bad point is the on board duty free. It's more expensive than any London supermarket.0

It certainly appears that there is no way of getting any discount for Brittany Ferries, unless anybody knows different?Something Really Interesting0

Does anyone have a current discount code for Britany Ferries? I'd be really grateful for any code or advice to make my one way ferry to Santander a little cheaper as it's showing as £412!
Many thanks,

I have just bought on Ebay (£1) a voucher that gave me a 10% discount. The guy has listed again http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250459991989&_trksid=e11051.m203&_trkparms=algo%3DCRX%26itu%3DLM%252BLA%252BUCI%252BUCC%26otn%3D2&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1348Something Really Interesting0

Hi
Does anyone know of a discount code for Brittany ferries? We are travelling Plymouth to Roscoff, August 28th - September 5th 2009.
I can't seem to find one anywhere!!
Thanks Sharon0 -
I work for Brittany Ferries in Plymouth and as far as I am aware there are no discount codes currently. The best bet for getting cheap crossings is voucher collection in local newspapers. If you can cross in the day time, you will find this cheaper as it is mandatory to reserve accommodation for night time crossings.
If you cross regularly it is worth joining the property owners travel club (you do not need to have a property). There are 2 memberships - one for France and one for France and Spain. You get 30% off ferry crossings and much more. See brittany-ferries.co.uk for more details
If you book yourself online, make sure you book your vehicle to the correct height (e.g. if you have a roof box, you need to increase your height to up to 2.6m) otherwise you may not be allowed to check in until you pay the difference.
If you made your booking on the phone, you will be charged £10 to amend it if you need to, but you can amend your booking online for free.
One more thing, if you need to use our bureau de change, then use the one at the port, it's commission free. On board the ship, you will get a worse rate and be charged commission. You can choose to order commission with your booking which can be collected when you check in.
I will post any more Brittany Ferries tips here if I think of them.

Hi All,
I am going to be booking a Portsmouth-Caen ferry to travel in August, this comes out at around £580 return!
Does anyone have any ideas about any discount codes etc??

If you look on e-bay a couple of sellers are listing the chance to use their membership number to receive 10% off.
As they are members of the Owners Club it would appear to be genuine.
I have never seen any discounts for Brittany Ferries for general use.0
