  • I'm also looking at booking an overnight ferry from Portsmouth to St. Malo in June (return via Caen a week later) and have been quoted over £400 for a car, 2 adults and an infant!

    LD lines are actually about half price for ferry crossings, they travel from Portsmouth to Le Harve which doesnt actually work out too bad to travel across to St Malo area, about 1.5 hours I seem to remember. We often use LD lines and although basic the savings are worth it. We can travel in July for 6 of us for 10 days for about £255
