Hi all, unfortunately, it was just too difficult and stressful to sort something out with someone else at such short notice, too many tears so I gave the prize up first thing this morning and the guy said they'd get someone else which i'm glad about.

He said he's going to try and get me some signed stuff (we were talking about this previously for a charity auction to raise money for a charity my friend set up in memory of her sister who died of a brain tumor) and i can have 2 tickets for a gig of my choice in Sheffield so all is not lost.

I'm gutted, But crap happens I guess!

awww I'm gutted for you!!! Fingers crossed for you about the signed stuff and hope you manage to see them next year!

I've only managed to see them a couple of times live. Once back in 2004 and it was a really quiet gig. Then managed to see them last January when I was living in New Zealand. What a crazy night! I was at the front and nearly got punched in the face by a girl who wanted to push me out of the way to get my spot. All that just to get close to the boys :rotfl:
