Egg Money Manager incentive

Just a cheeky question, really...
My wife uses Egg Money Manager and we really like it. Could do with setting it up on my Egg account.
I seem to remember from time to time that Egg offered incentives to start using this service (£10, maybe?) but they're not doing this at the moment. I'd be gutted to set this up now and then find out next month they were offering this free money.
Does anyone know if they are going to be doing this offer again? (Unlikely that anyone _knows_, but thought I'd ask.)
Does anyone think they will be doing it again in the next few months? (e.g. can people remember when they've done it in the past.)
Thanks,
Jim

Is £10 worth being gutted over?
If you like the system and it works for you its a no brainer do it now.0 -
£10 would be worth waiting a month or two, certainly. It's not like it's something I need - just something that's quite nice.0

I haven't seem them do it in a year or 2. Last time I remember was when I signed up and that was at least 2 years ago.0

If you want to use that software, just use it on the site of the people who wrote it; it has more facilities (you can save your safe on a USB pen for example,) and it doesn't go down when Egg's site goes down: https://www.ewise.com.au/accunity/aa/home.asp?pid=accunityConjugating the verb 'to be":

Thanks, Lokolo. Doesn't seem worth waiting, then.
Has anyone else had experience of the software from the site Paul_Herring mentions? Saving to a USB pen doesn't interest me, and to some extent I'd rather trust Egg than a company I haven't heard of.
But if the consensus is that it is a good thing I might give it a try...0 -
When you use Egg MM it basically runs a program which then logs into your banks, retrieves the info, then closes it again. Ewise made the program, so its not really any different. I just use Egg because I have Egg accounts so meh easy peasy.0

Just for your info, the small print of Egg Money Manager mentioned when I looked at it, that they can use the info about all of your accounts for research purposes or something along those line.
Maybe something to consider?0 -
Thought I'd ask egg themselves. Got the following reply...I can confirm that the £10 incentive for using the Egg Money Manager is no longer available and there are no plans to re introduce it unfortunately.
However the real incentive to use it is it's usefulness.
Fair enough. Will sign up anyway...0 -
It's only useful while Egg's site is working. Which IME is not often enough.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
