Hi sorry just wanted to vent:mad: .
We bought our DS a PSP for last Christmas. We purchased it from Game on 3 Dec 07 using our credit card. A couple of weeks ago it stopped working. I thought it had lost all its charge so put it on charge for a few days, no joy. Then to be honest I forgot all about it, until yesterday 8 Dec, when my DH took it into the store we got it from. They asked for the receipt (fair enough), so I looked it out last night and DH took it in today 9 Dec. Game said oh it's over 12 months:mad: , try Sony. (Which DH is doing now.) The sales girl was polite, but couldn't do anything. I went back in to speak to the manager, he was curt to the point of rudness.
Now I wouldn't be so cross except that it was a Christmas present, our son didn't open it til 25 Dec and on the receipt is says that 'Game will refund of (sic) exchange all Christmas purchases returned before 6th Jan 08...' So you would think that the 12 month guarantee would extend until at least 25 Dec.
Well just wanted to get that off my chest. Think I will still write to Game HQ and complain.

Have you tried emailing the situation to the customer service team instead of talking to the indivudual store. I find that stores are more worried about you messing with their profit margin by doing a refund where as the customer service team is there to keep you going back in the first place!Debts: Gym £[strike]465.75[/strike] Student account [strike]£1039.88[/strike] Overdraft [strike]£129.00[/strike] Credit Card [strike]£2772.22[/strike] Loan [strike]£6222.01 [/strike]
