Still waiting on virgin media getting back to us on why I can't access the Scottish power website using there network.
But had a brainwave and was able to access the website using my pc and able to get into my account and give my meter readings and pay something to my bill. The way I got round it was I used my mobile phone , I have unlimited web browsing on 02. So hooked it up to my pc and used my phone as modem. Technology is so clever sometimes :TThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I can access sp website but it seems to do things in duplicate. two log in screens, two help screens etc. and then it logs you out after only a few seconds with me!BSC #215/No.1 Jan 09 Club0

The ScottishPower website says that the password I entered doesn't match what's on their records. But, that is using the password that they emailed me (through their 'forgotten password' facility).
I think it is a technical problem on their end -- my guess is that it doesn't like my email address because it has a hypen in it.
Anyone else with a hyphen in their email having trouble logging in?
(I've been after ScottishPower for a month now to resolve this because I cannot log in at all to see my bills)

I had similar problems.
See solution from virginmedia:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click on tools and then click on Internet options.
3. Under the connections tab click on LAN Settings.
4. Click on Proxy Settings and enter the proxy server address: webcache.blueyonder.co.uk and port no 8080.
5. Now click on apply and ok.
Good luck0
