Another New Stoozer!

I am really new to this and would appreciate any help. I have acquired the Egg money card. Today, I have applied (and been accepted) for the Lloyds Platinum card. I requested a balance transfer to Egg of £3,535.60. So far so good. How can I move the money from the Egg credit card into a high interest savings account. Is it possible to do this?

  • Once the money is in the Egg card account you do a balance transfer to the account number and sort code of your other account. If it doesn't have one transfer it to your current account and then write a cheque to pay into your savings account.

  • Thank you Kathryn! By the way, will Egg charge for transferring to a current/savings account?

No if it is Egg Money ...
  • Thank you! I is an Egg Money Card and I have asked Lloyds Platinum to pay £3,353.60 across to Egg Money. Thus, Egg Money is in credit and the debt is on the Lloyds Platinum. How am I doin'?

    Good start 'NTT'

Egg money will give you 4% before tax,
if you leave it with them. Paid monthly.
Depends what your other saving account is paying,
also how long the 0% term etc

Work out the figures, might not be much in it,
could be time to be lazy and just leave your money in egg.m
