Halifax ASU Exclusion period

Hi, does anyone know about the initial exclusion period for Halifax's ASU policy where you have had a 'mortgage review'? It says in the Key facts that the initial period is waived if you have a mortgage review at the same time as taking the policy out.It seems unclear as to what they are referring to.
