Car Finance Question RE Voters Roll
Hi all,
I moved home in July, and have been confirmed as on the voters roll by the council.
However, on my credit expert report it says I'm not on it - this is because they work from the published report which only came out on Dec 1st so it hasn't updated yet.
My question is this - If I try to get finance for a car, will they be able to see that I'm on the voters roll, or do they see the same thing as credit expert?
Other than the voters roll, my credit is apparently ok, with only 1 missed payment in the past year.

If experian ( credit expert) haven't processed the voters roll report yet then it will not be showing on your credit file yet . Most car finance companies just rely on your credit file to check the voters roll and you may well struggle without it. I'd suggest hanging fire until your registration shows on experian.0
