Amazon & Amex

I got an e-mail from Amazon this morning stating that someone had tried to place an order using my Amex card with a new account. They canceled the fraudulent order and the account.
I phoned Amex immediately. There had been another charge (Comet) on that card that I did not recognise. Amex canceled the card and told me that I would not be responsible for any fraudulent transactions.
Yay for Amazon catching the fraud. Their system actually checks that the card info matches the address.
Yay for Amex dealing with it in less than five minutes.
