Orange broadband VPN change? Advice?

Thanks for the replies to date. The VPN software is Cisco's. I'm actually connected now but using Juniper VPN, which is a web based client. The Cisco VPN client works on all connections (e.g. friend's, cafe with wifi etc) but not over my home Orange connection.

Are you using a router on your orange BB connection or is it striaght out via a Modem?

Hi All

I am snr net admin and same issue was escalated to me for my marketing collegue who is using Orange and unable to make Cisco VPN connection.

That is when I reached to this forum but no one mentioned the right solution but thanks all for giving me some ideas.

I checked my logs and realized that the VPN connection requests were not even reaching to my Cisco ASA at all. Obviously that could only happened because of some blockage on the way. By default Cisco VPN uses UDP protocol and my guess was that is blocked by Orange. So configure my VPN gateway to allow TCP as well for remote VPN and changed on her cisco client to forece to use TCP.

Walllllllaaaaaaahhhhhhh! she now can make the connection with any problem.......
