Apple Launch New Products

Just thought I would let you know that Apple are about to launch some new products within the next hour, I believe they are going to launch a new mac mini with their new multi media centre to include TV/ freeview, pause and record live tv etc etc ( If the romours are true)!!!!

Their website is closed at the moment as it is updating??? so looks like the launch will be today.

Hope its the mac mini, bought one of these the other week and it is so small its fantastic

I suspect it was more of a 'heads-up' that the product is gonna be released so you can grab it before others do. I expect there is gonna be high demand and limited initial stock?

Well judging by Apples record the first people will be the guinea pigs and teh last few players thee have down have had problems.

I agree this doesnt belong here as its meant to be for quick bargain.

Main Apple website was updated at 7pm today http://www.apple.com

Highlights include:
* Intel based iMac (twice as fast as the previous model)
* Intel based laptop called the MacBook Pro (four times as fast as the previous PowerBooks)
* Updated iLife 06 (including iWeb software for web publishing)
* Updated iWorks 06

It's well worth keeping an eye out for G5 iMacs and G4 PowerBooks, might be able to grap a bargain! Don't forget Apple also have a refurb shop which might have some further reductions following the release of the new Macs:
