    they will soon tell you whether it is right or not


    otherwise you could log into your ebay account, type the ebay website into your browser, then click on my ebay, if it requires more info, it sometimes shows up there

    i logged in as normal not threw the link on the email and nowt bin bought like it claims and no message from ebay. eventhough i never clicked the link in the email decided it time to change my password cheers for help ;D

    Any email I get I ignore especially if they have a link to follow! if there were problems with my account I would expect them to leave a message once you have logged in!! In fact they should do something like that to stop all these scams! Its the same with Paypal and other bank accounts I always get these emails but ignore them and my accounts are usually fine!

    I think the scamers are doing this a lot today because there is scheduled maintanence so they use this opportunity to scare people because when the maintanence is taking place some accounts don't work properly! You can't view everything etc!

    Moral: Don't ever enter any details into any email!

    my brother in law got one of those but my hubby told him to bin it! it was obviously a scam these emails are so real and frightening to some people whenever you get an email supposedly from email if you are unsure send it to spoof@ebay
