Im considering signing up to the cards in a month or two but wont be bothered if they just offer peanuts

Halifax offered me over £10000 and my wife was offered £9000.
Don't know about HSBC because 6 weeks after applying, they still haven't got back to me!!!Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000

HSBC gave me £2500 -- I have quite a lot of other cards. The girl in-branch said she would ask if I could get a higher limit but that proved to be not possible.
My wife - on low income & not many cards - got £1500.
