Website statistics

The other day someone in one of the other forums on here posted a site whereby you could view a lot of statistics about this site, eg, similar stuff to who posted most in a week, most forums/threads used etc. I'm just wondering if any of you lot saw it, and if so, which site it was?

Thanks

  • I didn't see it (I only signed up tonight) but to point you in the right direction we'd need to know which forum software you would require it for. If you are versed in web development, something simple like this (example quickly thrown up - phpBB3) should work:

    SELECT u.username, p.post_id, p.post_subject, p.post_time FROM phpbb_posts p, phpbb_users u WHERE p.poster_id = u.user_id ORDER BY p.post_time DESC LIMIT 0, 5;

    That would show the five most recent posts from the database.

    It was just a site that got posted. Once you put the site details in, eg forums.moneysavingexpert.com, it gave you loads of statistics about the site.

  • www.google.com/trends can be used for general website stats, you may be able to x/refer with MSE and 'xyz' subjects..?
    Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
    Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)
