I am also waiting until 22nd to send any complaint. I phoned the call centre, well aware of the T&C, asking to be put through to my local branch so that I could make an appointment to open the account.
My account was only opened over the telephone on the repeated assurance that I would be eligible for the offer and that the call centre staff member was doing EXACTLY what their colleagues at the branch would be doing, including using the appropriate offer code. I will be disappointed if it transpires that I was repeatedly lied to (intentionally or otherwise) by the call centre staff member, particularly given that Co-op Bank service has hitherto, for me, been of an excellent standard.
I will of course update this post if the promised £100 appears during the next week.0 -
