hi
sorry if this has been asked already, i did look but couldn't find anything. I did a search for dormant bank accounts and it came back as I have a dormant lloyds tsb classic account with 5p in it woo!!
i went to lloyds today and re-opened and they said they would send me a new card and pin, but will the check my credit score again or will they just issue me a new card as the account was not closed?
does anyone know??
thank you

Banks have forms for the BBA which provides search facilities for bank accounts - not sure if you can do this online.0

I did this with Abbey - located an old account and they just re-issued the card - they shouldnt credit score you again.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

Online applications
The British Bankers' Association (BBA) can help you trace your lost bank account. This free service applies to every bank in the UK and is covered by The Banking Code. Go to www.mylostaccount.org.uk the website which brings together BBA, BSA and NS&I and enables you to trace lost accounts across banks, building societies and NS&I on completion of a single online application form.

I went on a website called mylostaccount.org and then got a letter from the BBA saying they had located a bank account and about 3 days later from lloyds telling me how to go about accessing again, it took about 2 months i think from start to finish.
